Xanadu - Our History in Poetry!

Do you remember the North High School Xanadu, do you have one?

If you went to North High School Torrance, you know that Xanadu was our North High School Poetry Book, written and published by and for the students.

However, Xanadu was really more than that. Xanadu was a history of North High School and the North High Torrance Area, written in verse. It can reflect our nation and the troubled time we all lived through.

We would like to make a Xanadu Archive in 200dpi .tif format. Can you help us by scanning any Xanadu you have and sending us this scan to us?

American History happened while were were at North High School (Torrance). Does anyone have the Xanadu issue in the year President Kennedy was assassinated? What about the years of the Vietnam war, or the year when Nixon Resigned?

At the risk of repeating, Xanadu is the history of Torrance and North High School written in verse!

Just contact us for details if your can help with this project.

Xanadu ... Alumni Version!

We have plans for an Alumni Xanadu, Email Edition! Sound fun?

If you went to North High School Torrance, California, you can join our Xanadu Team!

We could make this in a PDF file (not hard to do with just about any computer program!) so you can download and save these if you would like!

We need someone that would be willing to push the Alumni Xanadu from a Great Idea to a Fantastic Reality!

We will keep an archive of these PDF files on www.NorthHigh.info so that all North High School Torrance Alumni can read them.

In Xanadu did Kubla Khan

A stately pleasure-dome decree:

Where Alph, the sacred river, ran

We plan a linked Website just for Xanadu! So if you have a Xanadu or two, please help us build this archive.

Watch for the Xanadu Alumni Corner in the coming North Wind Alumni!
