15 Minutes of FAME! Class of 1984
15 minutes of Fame (or famous for 15 minutes) is an expression coined by the American artist Andy Warhol. It refers to the fleeting condition of celebrity.
Andy Warhol's statement in 1968 is that "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes."
We have a lot of Saxons that are famous - in their own way. Perhaps a minor league ball player or someone who just made it to the Olympics! Perhaps a small movie part or a part of a known band. We have some inventors, and artists, and people who have actually saved the life of another! Among us are people who have enhanced the quality of life, and in some way, change the course of human events.
This is a place for classmates to share those very special moments of achievement!
Tell us about your or a classmates 15 Minutes of Fame!
